This dog-safe version of Grilled Salmon with Vegetables looks just like the real thing — and your pup will absolutely love it! Perfect for a special treat or a fun homemade meal. 🐾
🥩 Ingredients
- 115g skinless, boneless salmon fillet
- 1/2 cup green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup sweet potato, peeled and diced small
- 1/4 cup carrot, peeled and diced small
🌿 Toppings & Garnish
- 1 tbsp plain, unsweetened pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
👨🍳 Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly score the top of the salmon fillet with a knife to create a ‘grill mark’ pattern. Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 12-15 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- While the salmon bakes, steam or boil the green beans, diced sweet potato, and carrot for 8-10 minutes until tender. Drain completely.
- Gently warm the pumpkin puree in a small bowl for a few seconds in the microwave to make it easy to drizzle.
🍽️ Assembly & Serving
- Place the baked salmon fillet on your dog’s favorite dish. Arrange the steamed green beans and the diced sweet potato and carrot mix alongside the fish. Drizzle the warm pumpkin puree over the salmon and finish with a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley.
🐾 Serves: 1 medium-sized dog
